We bet the whole day was amazing, but do you have a favourite part?

There is nothing better than seeing your nearest and dearest all in one place, having the time of their lives! I also loved that we had our dog, Jett, walk down the aisle with our flower girl and ring bearer. They were a super cute trio!

Did you go with a theme? Was it classic or did you have a funky twist?

I would describe our theme as simple, casual elegance. We let the natural beauty of our venue do the talking for the ceremony, and the reception was brought to life with lots of fresh green foliage, candles, and vintage sofas.

What was your wedding location like? Help us visualise it! We’re real dreamers!

We had our ceremony and reception at Mewburn park in Maffra, it was spectacular! We got married in front of the old red brick stables, and had our reception in their clear marquee under the festoon lights. It was magical! We were lucky to have a beautiful balmy summer night, so we could have all the walls open, keeping the beautiful surrounds on show.
 

Tell us about the food- was it sit down, cocktail or food trucks? We’re drooling already!

Our catering was delicious cocktail food by Neilsons kitchen/Little Prince inTraralgonn, and it was next level amazing! Think pulled pork sliders, beef tostadas, prawn twists, everyone could not stop raving about it!

Was there a Honeymoon or did you get back to the daily grind?

Our wedding was in Feb, but we waited until may to head off on our honeymoon. 6.5 weeks of soaking up the European sun

Do you have any words of wisdom or advice for upcoming brides?

Trust that everything in life happens for a reason! We had our fair share of setbacks (including losing our first venue choice!) But everything ended up being far better than what we had originally envisioned. It REALLY will all work out, so don’t let it stress you.

We are absolutely honoured that you chose us to dress you for your big day! How did you find your experience with Amante Bridal?

I could not fault my entire experience, you girls made everything a breeze! I certainly hadn’t planned on finding my dress, shoes, earrings, bridesmaids dresses and their shoes all in the one place, but it made our lives so much easier! It was amazing being able to try on all our pieces together.
