THIS BOUTIQUE IS EVERYTHING! I Came in three days before my wedding and was saved by the lovely Tegan! Nothing was too much to ask and I got the dress of my dreams ready to pick up the next day!!! If I had my time again, I’d have gone nowhere else! You ladies are heroes and you’ve made me feel phenomenal in my time of crisis! Can’t thank you enough!

COVID-19 - What does that mean for us?!
It is certainly a crazy time in the world, and the bridal world is certainly not exempt from that! We want everything to run as ‘normal’ as possible for you and luckily, we are in a Stage 3 area, so we can still function somewhat as normal. We do just have some changes…
- The guest limit for brides is 1 – we ask that you please stick to this one, we don’t want to turn anyone away! Winter in Warragul can get a bit chilly!
- Brides and guests will be required to wear a mask throughout their entire appointment. We will be in one too!
- Hand santitiser will be available and we ask that brides and guests try to limit touching. We LOVE you guys getting in and digging for a gown, but at the moment we just need to keep that to a minimum. There will certainly be a chance to have a look through, but your stylist will run you through all of this during your appointment!
- This isn’t a change really, but we just want to make sure that everyone has fun with it and makes the best out of this situation! Stay positive, ask as many questions as you need and make the most out of this crazy time- want a cute mask selfie in the boutique? We will even help you out and take it!
I'm getting married! When should I start looking for my wedding dress?
Most designers need 3-6 months to create your dream dress, so to avoid feeling stressed out, we recommend you begin dress shopping 9-12 months before your big day, this allows enough time for alterations if needed.
Getting married sooner that that? Don’t stress, most designers offer a rush service, but fees do apply.
So, do I need an appointment or can I just rock up?

Looking for the gown of your dreams?
Get ready girlfriend, your appointment goes for 45 minutes, we can’t wait to show you our favourites!
My dress is sorted, what about accessories?
Aren’t you in luck, we’ve got 30 wonderful minutes to go through our favourite hand-beaded veils, crowns/headpieces and jewellery! This can be done at your second appointment if you are coming in to try on your beautiful favourites again!
I’m ready to order!
Congratulations! We offer a 30 minute appointment to order your dream gown, you can try her on again, fall head over heels in love with her all over again and get your contracts etc. sorted!
My gown has arrived!!!!
This is one of our most favourite appointments! We will contact you to arrange a time to come in and pick up your gorgeous gown.
Can I bring a small village?
Although we love a good party, we are a cute little boutique with limited seating, so we usually encourage our brides to stick to a party of 4, however while COVID-19 restrictions are still in place we are asking brides to bring only themselves and one other person. We find that with opinions, unlike chocolate, less is more and having the opinion of a trusted few will help you come to your decision a lot easier.
Should I be bringing anything with me?
You might find it handy to bring a good strapless bra to keep the girls up, and if you’re feeling it, some shapewear. Anything you plan on wearing on your special day really.
We do ask however, that you refrain from wearing fake tan or heavy makeup when trying on our dresses, as we are all too familiar with that dreaded orange mark on the neckline of a gorgeous dress 🙁
Please note that all brides and guests will be required under the current restrictions to wear a mask throughout the entire appointment – so BYO mask! x
Can I get my bestie to take a photo of me in my favourites??
Yes, but only because we know you’re going to do it anyway! We work a little differently here at Amante Bridal- snapped a cute shot of the boutique? Share away! Just make sure to tag us!
We also don’t mind selfies being shared, please just be mindful of the bride and which gown she is choosing, we don’t want ‘The One’ ending up on socials!
So, what kind of dollars are we talking?
We are kind of a mixed kettle of fish here when it comes to prices. We have gorgeous separates that sit between $500-$1,500 and absolute stunners that reach heights of $9,000 with our core range sitting between $2,500-$3,300.
I've found the perfect dress! Now what??
CONGRATULATIONS!! We will now measure you up, down and around so that our designers can make your gown as close as possible to your current size.
You will be required to pay 50% up front and the remaining 50% once your dress has arrived in store.
Oooo, it's just not tight enough here, and just a little long there, what do I do??
Never fear beautiful child, we can help you with that too! Most made to order gowns will require some form of nip and tuck as they are made to your closest size and as we know, no two bodies are made the same.
When you come to pick up your gown, we will unleash Helen, a professional seamstress to give you a free alteration consultation. This will help you understand what you may need done on your dress and how much it may cost to do so. It is then up to you whether you choose to go to Helen for your alterations or source another seamstress or just wing it!
What on earth is a trunk show?
Our stylists at Amante have handpicked their faves from each designer to feature in our boutique at all times, a trunk show only lasts a couple of days and allows us to house the ENTIRE RANGE!! Yes, there will be treats. Yes, there will be discounts and yes, there will be dancing. This means that appointments fills up FAST, so keep an eye out on our ‘Trunk Shows’ page for updates!
