What is your, and your gorgeous partners names?
Amy and Scott
We bet the whole day was amazing, but do you have a favourite part?
Once the formalities of the ceremony were over, returning to our local hall where the reception was held and finally mingling with all ouf our guests and seeing everyone enjoy themselves.
Did you go with a theme? Was it classic or did you have a funky twist?
We didn’t really have a theme. I guess country, relaxed and fun!
What was your wedding location like? Help us visualise it! We’re real dreamers!
The ceremony was on our farm, on a hill with beautiful mountains as our back drop (and a red split screen kombi van). The reception was at our local memorial hall, which looked great with lots of festoon lights and beautiful styling.
Tell us about the food- was it sit down, cocktail or food trucks? We’re drooling already!
We had had a hiccup where our original plan was Paella, but our new caterer at short notice was fabulous. Lots of sharing platters on to the table so people grazed until they could not eat anymore. Scott and I forgot to eat but everyone else loved the food and its plentifulness. Everyone sat down on three long tables inside the hall for most of the food and then could choose where they were to each desserts which we all slices we had made the week before (with plenty of sampling…)
Was there a Honeymoon or did you get back to the daily grind?
Derby. North east Tasmania. A small local town where people mountain bike. Great for relaxing for a couple of nights, trying out our bike skills and exploring surrounding areas.
Do you have any words of wisdom or advice for upcoming brides?
Someone advised us just to let everyone come to you rather than you seeking out people to try and catch up and this was definitely true. Have an awesome bridal team and otherwise enjoy!
We are absolutely honoured that you chose us to dress you for your big day! How did you find your experience with Amante Bridal!
Hayley and Stacey were wonderful. It was a spoil coming to Amante bridal first. I felt part of the bridal rat race when in other bigger stores and felt really overwhelmed. I loved wearing my dress on the day, felt comfortable and could dance easily! Thank you Amante bridal.
