The Amante Experience

We seek to make your experience with Amante every magical thing you’ve imagined and so much more! Many designers need 4-6 months to create your dream dress, so we recommend you begin looking 9-12 months before your big day to allow time for alterations.

If you’re getting married sooner than that, please don’t stress; most designers offer a rush service, but fees may apply. Below is some insight into the “Amante Experience” – read away and contact us if we can help out with any questions or head to our FAQs

You might come in with a few ideas of what you love, or you might want us to choose a few of our favourites! Either way, we’re excited to show you our treasures.

Bring a friend
We’re a cute little boutique with enough seating for you and your 3 closest peeps.

Appointment Fee
Please note, there is a $45 booking fee. This is purely in place to avoid “no shows” that often mean other brides miss out on an appointment and help maintain the quality of our samples. This fee is redeemable against the purchase of your gown!

What to bring
You might find it handy to bring a good strapless bra and if you’re feeling it, some shapewear – anything you plan on wearing on your special day.

We do ask that you refrain from wearing fake tan or heavy makeup when trying on our dresses, as we’re all too familiar with that dreaded orange mark on the neckline of a gorgeous gown 🙁

SUBSEQUENT APPOINTMENTS

Need to try your faves again? And maybe even some accessories?!
No problem! Book a 30-minute appointment, where we can also go through our favourite hand-beaded veils, crowns, headpieces and jewellery!

You’re ready to order!
Congratulations! We offer a 30-minute appointment to order your dream gown, where you can fall head-over-heels in love with her all over again and also get your contracts sorted!

You’ll be required to pay 50% upfront and the remaining 50% once your dress has arrived in-store.

Your gown has arrived!
This is one of our most favourite appointments! We will contact you to arrange a time to come in and pick up your gorgeous gown.
