We bet the whole day was amazing, but do you have a favourite part?

It’s hard to pick one part! Watching my 2 daughters be a part of our day and be so excited was amazing. Spending the day with all of our nearest and dearest, the venue, it was all amazing.

Did you go with a theme? Was it classic or did you have a funky twist?

Not really any theme, we just wanted it to be classic and laid back!

What was your wedding location like? Help us visualise it! We’re real dreamers!

We got married at the Vines on Avon, a beautiful little winery in Maffra. Beautiful big gum trees stunning gardens and lovely open grassy areas. Perfect little country area! The people who run the venue are amazing, extremely accommodating and understanding of everything we needed to make our day perfect.

Tell us about the food- was it sit down, cocktail or food trucks? We’re drooling already!

We had a gourmet BBQ food for dinner, it was absolutely sensational steak, chicken, fish, and the most amazing sea food you could ever imagine! The calamari was absolutely to die for.

Was there a Honeymoon or did you get back to the daily grind?

We do plan on a honeymoon at some point, but with 2 kids it will be on the back burner for a little while!

Do you have any words of wisdom or advice for upcoming brides?

Just take it as it comes. Embrace the day and everything that comes with it. Don’t sweat the small things! At the end of the day all that matters is you are married to the person you can’t live without!
