We bet the whole day was amazing, but do you have a favourite part?
Our personalised vows were a highlight. It was so special to think about and verbalise what we love about each other and how we want our marriage to look in the future.
Did you go with a theme? Was it classic or did you have a funky twist?
We eloped! Only our immediate family knew about our engagement/ wedding plans and were there to celebrate with us on the day.
What was your wedding location like? Help us visualise it! We’re real dreamers!
We got married on the east coast of Tasmania at my godmother’s incredible holiday home by the beach. It was so stunning and we had some amazing photos with the mountains and sea in the background.
Tell us about the food- was it sit down, cocktail or food trucks? We’re drooling already!
We had a caterer come to the house for a sit down dinner (roast beef, baked fish, veggies, salads etc and a huge cake). We also sourced some fresh local oysters from a farm down the road. As there were only 16 of us, it was a nice way to all be together to enjoy some yummy food.
Was there a Honeymoon or did you get back to the daily grind?
We had the Friday and Monday off work either side of the weekend and we will be going to thailand on our honeymoon later this year.
Do you have any words of wisdom or advice for upcoming brides?
If you’re thinking about eloping, do it!! It was so intimate and authentic. We had time to be present throughout the day and to spend quality time with our loved ones throughout the night. Despite having a micro wedding, we still partied it up with cocktails, wines, sparklers and music.

Elena was incredble. She was able to find me the perfect dress and help me with the fittings with such short notice (only 2 months). I wasn’t expecting to chose a dress with lace but elena gently encouraged me to give it a try and I fell in love. From start to finish the whole experience was an absolute joy.
