We bet the whole day was amazing, but do you have a favourite part?

The ceremony and speeches were my highlights. Walking down the aisle towards the love of my life was a feeling I can’t describe. sharing such an INTIMATE moment with our nearest and dearest was so special, and then having those closest to us get up and share beautiful (and sometimes embarrassing) stories about our journey as a couple was touching.

Did you go with a theme? Was it classic or did you have a funky twist?

We never really labeled our day with a theme, but i would say we worked really hard to create a relaxed vibe for all those involved. From the bride, groom and bridal party outfits through to the length of the ceremony and the formalities we chose to include, we wanted it to be fun, simple but elegant.

What was your wedding location like? Help us visualise it! We’re real dreamers!

We chose the beautiful Riverstone Estate in Coldstream. A beautiful bluestone house turned winery on the top of a hill in the Yarra Valley. Picture views of rolling hills, wrap around verandah and festoon lights.

Tell us about the food- was it sit down, cocktail or food trucks? We’re drooling already!

We had a cocktail wedding, highlights were the amazing grazing table at the beginning of the night with locally sourced cheeses, dips and bread (plus more!) as well as our amazing dessert table. This was set up in a separate area and beautifully put together by the venue as an interactive dessert. It had ice cream, mousse, brownies, tarts and more. Guests have been raving about how unique and delicious it was.

Was there a Honeymoon or did you get back to the daily grind?

Vietnam for some exploring and relaxation.

Do you have any words of wisdom or advice for upcoming brides?

I had the most relaxing morning with my bridesmaids. We allowed plenty of time for hair and makeup, had some chilled music playing and were not overcrowded with 10 other people trying to get ready. I think this really set the tone for my day and was a huge reason I felt so relaxed walking down the aisle.

The girls at Amante were amazing. The quaint boutique made the process so simple! I had been to other bridal stores before, but the craziness is so overwhelming. Amante was the perfect fit for everything I wanted to achieve for our day. thank you so much!
